alam hain arsa-e-ilm-o-adab ke shahsavaron men
‘nasim’ o ‘barq’ o ‘raunaq’ ‘ghaus’ o ‘kaifi’ ‘azmi’ o ‘mahir’
‘sharar’ aur ‘zar’-o-‘mo.ajiz’ namvar hain sehr-karon men
‘mubin’ ‘yakta’ ‘qamar’ ‘aḳhlaq’ ‘shauq’ aur ‘shakir’-o-‘ghafil’
‘munir’-o-‘shams’ sab hain ilm-o-fan ke dost-daron men
‘quraishi’ ‘vahidi’ ‘asif-baqa.i’ aur ‘hasan-ḳhvaja’
hain ahd-e-hazira men sab adab ke puḳhta-karon men
‘sa.id’ o ‘yas’ o ‘vahshi’ ‘amn’ aur ‘mahmud’ aur ‘akbar’
nahin go dehli vaale dehlavi hain isti.aron men
‘munavar’ ‘muntazir’ ‘barakat’ ‘jari’ ‘fani’ ‘adib’ ‘ashiq’
‘nihal’ aur ‘fikr’ aate hain isi mad ke shumaron men
hamari dars-gahon men adab ke ‘nazim’-o-‘nashir’
ḳhuda rakkhe nazar aate hain aksar honharon men
‘ali’ o ‘talib’ o ‘shaida’ o ‘taban’ ‘saqi’ o ‘ma.il’
hua taraj gulshan jab ḳhizan aa.i baharon men
‘firaq’ aur ‘mir’ ‘nasir’ aur ‘siri-ram’ ab kahan ‘sahir’
