to lazzat aur hi hasil ho kam-o-jan ke liye
vo vo hai nam-e-ḳhuda dekho jis ka zarra-e-lutf
farogh-baḳhsh hai is tira-ḳhak-dan ke liye
usi ke hai ruḳh-e-anvar se ye jahan raushan
usi se nuur hai ḳhurshid-e-asman ke liye
vo kaun sarvar-e-alam mohammad-e-arabi
ki jis ki zaat se hai faiz do-jahan ke liye
ata kiya hai ḳhuda ne vo haan use dil-o-dast
ki jis se pahunche hai imdad bahr-o-kan ke liye
kalid-e-qufl-e-dar-e-arzu hain us ki bhaven
bila-mubalagha kahta huun ins-o-jan ke liye
ita.at us ki zaḳhira hai bas sa.adat ka
yahan ke vaste aur mulk-e-javedan ke liye
vo jo zaban ki ho us ki mad.h se sakit
majal-e-nutq na ho ‘aish’ us zaban ke liye
